Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of related work experience
  • Weekend availability
  • Evening shift availability from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is desirable
  • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • Must comply with company policies and appearance standards

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of related work experience
  • Experience in a supervisory role preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues effectively
  • Proficient in computer systems and reservations software
  • Ability to work evening shifts and weekends
  • Commitment to providing exceptional guest service
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds

Job Duties

  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system
  • Review employee shift logs and daily memo books and document relevant information
  • Contact appropriate person or department to resolve guest calls, requests or issues
  • Process all guest check-in records by verifying reservations, guest identity, payment, assigning rooms and issuing keys
  • Sell rooms or accommodations to guests without reservations based on availability
  • Ensure rates comply with market standards and document rate exceptions
  • Scan and charge accounts from various points of sale to guest room accounts
  • Assist management with training, evaluation, coaching, discipline, motivation, and serve as first point of contact for fair treatment and open door policy
  • Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions
  • Conduct safety training and obtain certifications
  • Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain professional appearance
  • Welcome and recognize guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs and assist guests with disabilities
  • Communicate clearly and professionally and answer phones properly
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships
  • Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards
  • Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods
  • Move, lift, transport, push, drag, and locate objects weighing 25 pounds or less
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
