Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience handling imports and exports via ocean and air products or equivalent education and expertise
  • Experience and knowledge of import compliance, rules, and regulations preferred
  • Experience handling accruals and billing
  • Knowledge of Importer Security Filing (ISF) preferred
  • Knowledge of CargoWise (C1) preferred
  • Good working knowledge of Incoterms required

  • Knowledge of United States customs laws, practices and procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepare, review and process appropriate documents ensuring accuracy and proper sequence
  • Receive and track customer bookings and shipments
  • Update clients on shipment status and delays
  • Dispatch freight for delivery and maintain communication with truckers
  • Collect proof of delivery and invoice all files
  • Comply with all company business process guidelines
  • Resolve and reconcile incorrect payables by coordinating with vendors and overseas offices
