Job Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least two years of relevant experience in food and beverage or hospitality management
  • valid food handler and alcohol service licenses
  • previous leadership experience in food and beverage operations
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency with POS system (TouchBistro) and inventory management software
  • physical ability to perform moderate labor tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds
  • willingness to work onsite in Davenport, FL
  • ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years experience in restaurant operations
  • must have necessary licensing and qualifications for food and alcohol service
  • must have restaurant inventory experience
  • must have volunteer coordination experience
  • previous leadership over a team of people in Food and Beverage required
  • ability to work onsite and be open to a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • ability to work flexible shift if needed
  • must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 60 lbs, up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 10 lbs constantly

Job Duties

  • Lead and oversee daily operation of the Food and Beverage business with a focus on staffing, revenue and margin generation, controls, and performance
  • responsible for the overall member experience, communication of goals and expectations, and ensuring operating and safety standards are maintained
  • interact with team members and drive development of the team through continuous training and role modeling
  • monitor equipment and infrastructure needs to generate growth
  • responsible for adherence and interaction with applicable regulatory agencies and requirements
  • handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner
  • responsible for adherence to the governing documents, guidelines, rules, and regulations of the community and be the Manager on Duty (MOD) after standard HOA business hours
  • facilitates quick and efficient communication between front and back of house team members
  • partners with the Community Manager/Lifestyle Director to identify, coordinate and market all community events, programs, and services
  • prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by the Board of Directors
  • plus other work-related tasks
