Job Requirements

  • Minimum of five years HOA management experience onsite
  • Florida CAM license required
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, understand, and explain financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and general ledger
  • Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or associate degree with relevant experience

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years HOA management experience onsite
  • Experience managing an aging master association with condominium sub associations
  • Florida CAM license required
  • CMCA designation
  • AMS certification a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
  • Hospitality/club management background preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate's degree or relevant experience required
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills
  • Ability to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
  • Ability to read, understand, and explain financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and general ledger

Job Duties

  • Conduct daily and frequent site inspections to ensure the highest possible standards of safety, courtesy, cleanliness and efficiency are met
  • Maintain a high visible presence within the community and among the team to provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing all members' inquiries, concerns, and feedback
  • Develop positive relationships through public charisma and effective communication
  • Ensure compliance with all community policies and procedures as defined by the Board of Directors
  • Plan, develop, and approve operational policies, procedures, methods and regulations related to general operating procedures
  • Direct the work of all department managers
  • Drive the development of the annual operating, cash, and capital budgets and assess compliance through periodic checkpoints
  • Prepare timely monthly financial reports for the Board of Directors
  • Coordinate the development of long-range and annual business plans aligned with association by-laws and policies
  • Oversee association policies, programs, and processes and recommend necessary changes
  • Monitor quality of association products and services to ensure maximum member and guest satisfaction
  • Secure and protect all association assets
  • Establish and maintain on-going dialogue with members to elicit input on Association direction and improvements
  • Coordinate with Board of Directors on strategic plans development and implementation
  • Support internal controls
  • Provide counsel to management staff for training and supervision
  • Plan, develop and approve specific operational programs and rules
  • Evaluate committee activities
  • Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
  • Other duties as directed
