Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during events with reasonable accommodations
  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Must have valid work authorization
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in hospitality or events management preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or community relations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and client experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and digital marketing tools such as Constant Contact and Mailchimp
  • Familiarity with event software and virtual meeting platforms like Zoom and Teams
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute community and private events at various Yosemite Lakes Park venues
  • Manage event logistics including scheduling, staffing, decor, menu coordination, and equipment setup
  • Conduct tours, menu tastings, and meetings with potential clients
  • Create and maintain banquet event orders, proposals, and contracts
  • Attend and oversee events to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction
  • Build and maintain client and vendor relationships
  • Develop and distribute marketing materials and manage promotions
  • Schedule and train front-of-house and banquet staff
  • Maintain inventory of event supplies
  • Work with accounting on billing and contracts
  • Support association meeting communications and technology needs
  • Capture event photos and collect feedback
  • Assist with community surveys and engagement initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
