Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.
- State licensure or regulation as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Minimum of two years experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education
- Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.
- Licensed or otherwise regulated as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state(s) of practice
- Two years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable transportation
Job Duties
- Travel to patients' homes to provide occupational therapy services
- Deliver therapy as outlined in the physician's orders and plan of care under supervision
- Assist patients in achieving their therapy goals through intermittent visits tailored to their needs
- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist and clinical management for patient care coordination
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and safety measures
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs
