Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.
  • State licensure or regulation as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Minimum of two years experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Auto insurance
  • Reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education
  • Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.
  • Licensed or otherwise regulated as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state(s) of practice
  • Two years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Travel to patients' homes to provide occupational therapy services
  • Deliver therapy as outlined in the physician's orders and plan of care under supervision
  • Assist patients in achieving their therapy goals through intermittent visits tailored to their needs
  • Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist and clinical management for patient care coordination
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress
  • Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and safety measures
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs
