Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Nutrition Services Leader in culinary or food production areas
  • CRT-ServSafe Handler certification within 90 days
  • CRT-ServSafe Manager certification within 90 days
  • ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Nutrition Services Leader in culinary or food production areas
  • CRT-ServSafe Handler certification within 90 days
  • CRT-ServSafe Manager certification within 90 days
  • ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English
  • preferred Associate's Degree in food service-related area
  • preferred 2 years of relevant food service experience outside of culinary/food production
  • preferred 1 year of management experience outside culinary/food production
  • preferred 1 year of experience with therapeutic diets

Job Duties

  • Oversee the production of high-quality food products following standardized recipes
  • provide input for menu development
  • prioritize and direct activities of employees in assigned area
  • prepare schedules and coordinate staffing
  • orient, train, and coach staff
  • apply corporate and department policies consistently
  • provide input into evaluation and discipline of staff
  • promote teamwork and address concerns
  • maintain safety and sanitation standards
  • identify and address variances
  • uphold and enforce policies and procedures
  • ensure compliance with hospital standards and inspection readiness
