Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class D or above driver’s license with an excellent driving record
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience preferably in shred or box truck operation and route management
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including loading and unloading vehicles
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Ability to read and understand English traffic signs and regulations
  • May require mandatory immunizations and credentials based on customer requirements
  • Ability to work early morning shifts starting at 5:30 am Monday through Friday
  • Availability to work full-time
  • Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal driving laws

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in driving and route management preferably with shred/box trucks
  • Possess a valid Class D or higher driver’s license with an excellent driving record
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway traffic signs and respond to official inquiries
  • Familiarity with compliance and safety regulations related to commercial driving
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Capability to operate company equipment and handheld devices proficiently
  • Ability to manage time and routes effectively

Job Duties

  • Perform onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information
  • Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and driver check-in before leaving or closing
  • Report maintenance issues to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow-up
  • Operate company equipment safely and efficiently to minimize injury and equipment damage
  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service
  • Complete and maintain DOT logs when applicable
  • Maintain high security when emptying consoles/collection totes ensuring documents are retrieved and consoles are securely locked
  • Service accounts using handheld device to verify console/container barcodes, locations, and accuracy of type and quantity
  • Manage assigned routes ensuring timely and accurate collection of confidential materials
  • Handle and respond to customer problems and inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Perform other duties as assigned
