Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in coordinating volunteer or nonprofit groups preferred
  • ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
  • availability to work event days including evenings and weekends
  • strong organizational skills
  • capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • proficiency in computer use for tracking and communication
  • commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in volunteer coordination or event staffing preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • proficiency with basic computer applications such as email and spreadsheets
  • excellent organizational skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Sources and onboards new and existing nonprofit groups
  • assist with event day check-ins including set-up and breakdown of volunteer check-in areas
  • ensure tracking of volunteer compliance and training
  • distribute and communicate event-day details
  • act as resource for nonprofit groups if issues arise with management
  • track attendance and conduct of nonprofit groups
  • actively recruit using various methods for new nonprofit groups
  • audit nonprofit groups and files in a routine manner
  • answer telephones and email inquiries in a professional and client-centric manner
  • assist with staffing including finding staff when schedules are announced on short notice
  • work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers and supervisor
  • attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required
  • maintain clean and safe work environment
  • perform other duties as assigned
