Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Twelve months experience driving a Box Truck within the last three years
- Valid driver’s license with current DOT medical card
- Twenty-one years of age or older
- Pass a road test
- Acceptable driving record per company policy
- Pass background check and pre-employment tests
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and push or pull up to 50 lbs
- Strong adherence to safety standards
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Twelve months experience driving a Box Truck within the last three years
- Valid driver’s license with current DOT medical card
- Class A CDL or Class B license is optional
- Twenty-one years of age or older
- Pass a road test
- Acceptable driving record per company policy
- Acceptable responses to previous employment verifications
- Pass background check and pre-employment tests
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Ability to operate lift gate and handle physical demands of the position
- Professional and positive demeanor
Job Duties
- Safely drive a commercial motor vehicle (Box Truck)
- Safely operate a lift gate
- Load and unload freight at distribution centers and at assigned route locations
- Maintain all DOT required documentation
- Adhere to DOT rules and regulations
- Lift and carry up to 25 lbs and push or pull up to 50 lbs for touch freight positions
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
- Work well independently, with customers, and in a team setting
- Complete deliveries on schedule and interface with customers effectively
- Perform and document pre and post trip inspections
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Complete all other duties as assigned
