Job Requirements
- Must be over the age of 21 to drive
- Must have a valid driver’s license with clear 7-year driving record
- Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Must have at least 1 year of driving experience
- Must have at least 1 year of sit-down forklift operation experience
- Must have at least 1 year of warehouse experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have clean driving history with no DWI
- Must be comfortable walking and standing for more than 80 percent of the work day
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of driving experience
- At least 1 year of sit-down forklift operation experience
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean 7-year driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Basic math and reading skills
- Active listening skills
- Ability to read a map and follow directions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Makes deliveries daily to customers in the sales territory in an efficient manner, minimizing the time away from the warehouse while driving the vehicle in a safe and courteous manner
- Reports any mechanical issues with the delivery vehicle to the supervisor immediately
- Delivers or routes materials to shipping or delivery area in the warehouse, using work devices, such as hand-trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts
- Examines pallet loads and package contents in order to compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment
- Confers and corresponds with supervisors or sales representatives to resolve problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance specifications
- Stock material, equipment, and supplies to maintain inventory of stock
- Pull orders and stage material in shipping or delivery area in the warehouse, using work devices, such as hand-trucks, carts, pallet, jacks, and lift-trucks
- General housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in warehouse
- Perform other duties as assigned
