Job Requirements
- high school or equivalent education
- one to two years experience in public contact and accounting
- first aid, CPR, AED certified
- ability to work overnight shifts
- ability to stand for up to four hours at a time and eight hours a day
- able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
- good verbal and written communication skills
- basic computer proficiency
- commitment to regular attendance
- neat and well-groomed appearance per resort standards
Job Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education
- one to two years of experience in a public contact position and basic accounting
- first aid, CPR, and AED certification
- basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and 10-key by touch
- good verbal and written communication skills
- basic computational ability
- knowledge of resort services and local city attractions
- ability to assist or direct guests and emergency personnel in emergencies
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- register guests into the computer system verifying reservation, address, and credit information
- ensure all security protocols and company procedures are followed
- promote the MARRIOTT BONVOY Program and provide recognition and benefits to members
- answer all calls within three rings and transfer appropriately
- be accountable for all daily activities
- provide knowledge on hotel promotions and packages
- recognize repeat guests and corporate accounts
- handle cash transactions and balance cash drawer
- offer upgrades when available
- assist in marketplace sales of merchandise, food, beverage, and coffee drinks
- refer guests to activities desk for ticket sales
- maintain lobby cleanliness and organization
- correctly process checkouts and payments
- issue keys and control safety deposit box access
- ensure timely wake up calls
- follow up with security for guest safety
- maintain security of MOD keys
- maintain nightly reports including MOD reports
- attend scheduled training sessions and meetings
- assist concierge with mail and guest information
- book reservations during off peak hours
