Job Requirements

  • Must have a professional, warm, and approachable disposition
  • Fluently read, write, and speak English
  • Demonstrated ability to remain level-headed in hectic and tense situations
  • Ability to complete tasks accurately and on time while working alone with little to no direct supervision

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hotel front desk or accounting preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work overnight shifts
  • Proficiency with hotel management software and basic accounting principles
  • Ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and courteously
  • Experience in balancing financial transactions and end of day reporting

Job Duties

  • Post, report, and balance the daily transactions and payments of the hotel's lodging operation and other outlets for end-of-day reporting
  • Perform the required end of day routines on the applicable hotel systems
  • Attend to guest registration, room assignments, and special requests
  • Take, modify, and update room reservations
  • Accurately record and process guest charges, credits, and payments
  • Assist and respond to all guest inquiries in person, phone, or email as appropriate
  • Deliver the brand and company promises
