Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel front desk or night audit role preferred
  • ability to work overnight shifts
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent communication skills
  • basic computer proficiency
  • ability to handle cash accurately
  • willing to maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • ability to multitask and work independently during overnight hours
  • proficiency with hotel management software

Job Duties

  • Count cash and maintain the accuracy of the issued cash drawer at the beginning and end of each scheduled shift
  • check the front desk log for problems and special requests
  • greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
  • process guest registrations including collecting payment
  • prepare express checkout folios
  • maintain room status inventory
  • communicate all pertinent shift information to Front Office Manager, General Manager, and other desk staff
  • maintain and clean the lobby and bathroom as needed
  • communicate all information to the following shift to ensure a smooth transition
  • work closely with all hotel departments to ensure the highest quality of customer service
  • answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
  • complete all required shift paperwork and night audit reports daily
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
