Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Ability to handle stressful and high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective conflict resolution and listening abilities
- Positive attitude with eagerness to learn
- Ability to follow guidelines and procedures accurately
- At least 18 years old
- Availability to work varied schedules including nights and weekends
- Punctuality and reliability in attendance
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks
- Basic computer skills for data entry and audit reporting
- Ability to read and understand English language instructions
- Willingness to contribute as a team player continuously
Job Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Capable of working well under pressure and managing pace
- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Strong hospitality and guest service orientation
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Timely arrival and departure for scheduled shifts
- Ability to clock in and out for breaks as scheduled
- Provide sufficient notice when calling out for scheduled shifts
- Read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work together with all team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
- Support and be aware of all groups and events at the hotel
- Use and understand technology relevant to the role
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
- Keep all workspaces front and back of house clean and well-organized
- Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests happily while cleaning, by name when possible
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and at the designated times
- Ensure handover reports are accurate and delivered on time
- Wear clean, approved uniform with nametag and maintain grooming standards
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude by stretching beyond traditional role responsibilities
- Commit to teamwork to maintain a welcoming environment and positive workplace
- Complete all hotel audit-related reports by the designated time
- Follow overnight security measures to ensure a safe environment
- Receive and note all incoming mail as required
