Job Requirements

- prior experience in hotel or hospitality industry preferred
- strong numerical and analytical skills

- prior experience in hotel front desk or auditing preferred
- strong mathematical and computer skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively

- knowledge of hotel management software is a plus
Job Duties
- Conduct nightly audit-related duties balancing audit tasks and guest services
- attend to guest needs such as check-ins, check-outs, reservations and inquiries
- count cash and maintain accuracy of the cash drawer at beginning and end of shift
- check the front desk log for any problems or special requests
- greet, register and assign rooms to guests
- prepare express checkout folios
- maintain room status inventory
- communicate pertinent shift information to Front Office Manager, General Manager and other desk staff
- maintain and clean the lobby and bathroom as needed
- communicate information to the following shift for smooth transition
- work closely with all hotel departments to ensure high quality customer service
- answer inquiries about hotel services, guest registration, and local amenities
- complete all required shift paperwork and night audit reports
- perform other duties as assigned by management
