Job Duties

  • Supervise and support the overnight front desk team to ensure exceptional guest service and adherence to hotel standards
  • Serve as the senior point of contact during overnight shifts, managing all guest interactions with professionalism
  • Support and coach night audit agents/front desk staff on guest service standards, operational procedures, and problem resolution
  • Monitor lobby presence and ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and guest ready
  • Perform night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial activity and ensure proper revenue posting across all outlets
  • Review and balance room revenue, restaurant and outlet charges, and front desk postings
  • Prepare daily summary reports, including occupancy, revenue, and market segmentation
  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in guest folios and billing
  • Maintain the security and safety of the hotel by supporting overnight security efforts and responding to any incidents as needed
  • Connect with engineering and housekeeping teams at the start of each shift to align on pending tasks, room statuses, and any operational needs
  • Ensure a smooth shift transition by preparing shift reports and updating communication logs
  • Handle late check-ins, early check-outs, room changes, and emergency situations with professionalism
  • Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively
  • Train, guide, and support new or existing team members during night shifts
