Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Computer skills
  • Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic setting preferred
  • Willingness to travel to additional clinics for training and coverage purposes such as Menomonee Falls and Mount Pleasant

Job Duties

  • Assist the orthodontist during procedures such as adjusting braces and placing orthodontic appliances
  • Complete full arch bonding top and bottom as well as bonding fixed retainers
  • Perform debonding
  • Rebond brackets
  • Use various digital scanners
  • Make clear retainers
  • Deliver expanders, space maintainers, and forsus
  • Take clear x-rays
  • Take clear photos
  • Take accurate scans for retainers
  • Assist in sterilizing equipment
  • Maintain clean working environment including picture and x-ray areas
  • Work with the treatment coordinator to ensure patient case acceptance by orchestrating a warm hand-off
  • Assist in meeting and/or exceeding monthly and annual clinic goals
  • Cover topics such as payment options and provide patients with general insurance information related to orthodontics
  • Perform all duties including administrative tasks when traveling to other clinics
  • Participate in marketing events
  • Complete annual compliance training
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
