Job Requirements
- Associate degree or higher
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction project management and estimating
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software
- Ability to conduct daily site inspections
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and supervise a team
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school
- Minimum of 5 years construction project management and estimating experience, primarily on large multifamily and commercial projects
- Proficient with MS Office suite, email, and scheduling software
- Experience in representing project status and conducting site inspections
- Capable of supervising construction department employees
- Preferred bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
Job Duties
- Represent and report to project managers on the status of construction projects
- Verify DHI procedures are followed and construction schedules maintained
- Review and discuss construction drawings for constructability and value engineering
- Participate in selecting contracting vendors and drafting contract scopes
- Issue, track, and verify correct plan revisions to subcontractors
- Conduct daily project visits and inspections to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Gather and maintain project data and coordinate with jurisdictional officials
- Assist in overseeing development processes, including infrastructure and amenities installation
- Participate in determining construction schedules
- Deliver organized construction closeout documents
- Verify safety and environmental documentation
- Oversee warranty issue resolution
- Contribute project data for job cost finalization
- Conduct all business professionally and ethically to support company goodwill and profits
