Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a school or childcare setting
- ability to meet state specific requirements for Safe-Serve and food service operations
- strong understanding of food safety, nutrition, and kitchen sanitation practices
- ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and prioritize tasks effectively
- must be dependable, organized, and passionate about serving children

Job Duties
- Create menus
- order food
- prepare meals and deliver meals to other locations
- order products on a regular schedule to eliminate out of stock items such as food, paper goods, cleaning supplies and snacks
- process inventory of all kitchen items
- ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including all food preparation areas, food containers, refrigerators, and freezers
- maintain the highest level of sanitation and be responsible for the inspection with the health department
- other duties, as assigned
