Job Requirements

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without need for visa sponsorship
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience and/or training
  • Experience in corporate or conference center management preferred
  • Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people
  • Warm and engaging demeanor
  • Ability to assess circumstances, empathize and offer help
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents
  • Ability to solve problems involving multiple options
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience and/or training
  • Experience in corporate or conference center management preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in multiple software platforms
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules based on business needs

Job Duties

  • Serve as primary point of contact for high profile and/or large engagements
  • Accountable to develop and communicate end-to-end complex event plans to ensure flawless execution of meetings and events
  • Manage complex master meeting and events calendar for medium to large sized event spaces
  • Communicate event schedules with all required partners and service providers
  • Responsible for pre-event planning, greeting event hosts, and ensuring understanding between host and service delivery team
  • Source, select, and recommend vendors for catering, decor, entertainment, giveaways, and more
  • Support event communication and marketing plans
  • Manage event set-up, vendor coordination, and tear-down
  • Manage each event as a project from planning through execution, ensure input and communication across teams
  • Build and maintain work relationships with internal and external clients
  • Coordinate with partners and vendors to meet client expectations
  • Create and distribute banquet event orders defining event specifics
  • Ensure seamless event delivery and manage on-site logistics
  • Capture post-event reporting and suggest improvements
  • Support junior team members and may assist with budget creation and adherence
  • Perform other duties as assigned
