Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Comfortable driving under various weather conditions day and night
- Ability to sit, stand, move, and drive for prolonged periods
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, various shifts, or overtime
- Ability to use technology devices including tablets and perform minor tech troubleshooting
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Comply with vaccination and background check requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
- Prior delivery driving experience a plus
- Ability to lift containers up to 75 pounds
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions day or night
- Ability to sit, stand, be mobile, and operate a vehicle for extended periods
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime
- Ability to use computers and tablets and perform minor technology installation and troubleshooting
- Healthcare experience is beneficial
- Subject to customer vaccination requirements including Influenza, MMR and Hepatitis B or have valid accommodation
Job Duties
- Deliver medical equipment using company transit van to hospital customer locations and notify delivery status
- Show empathy and compassion for customers and patients in every situation
- Load and unload packages and products from vehicles to the home
- Perform minor technical installation and de-installation in the home and troubleshoot technology as required
- Maintain vehicles in proper working condition, cleanliness, and perform minor maintenance and roadside repairs
- Utilize handheld tablets for navigation, reporting status changes and inventory updates
- Hold self and associates accountable for safe work practices and support continuous improvement in operations and environmental health and safety
- Ensure quality service and prompt follow-through on customer correspondence, complaints, and inquiries related to shipment and stock
- Conduct equipment cleaning procedures at the depot as required
- Comply with Cardinal Health compliance, regulations, and training requirements
- Support innovative process improvements to enhance quality of service
- Comply with vaccinations and background checks as required by hospital customers
