Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license
  • good driving record
  • ability to lift containers up to 75 pounds
  • able to drive in all weather conditions
  • able to sit, stand and operate vehicle for extended periods
  • strong customer service skills
  • flexibility to work shifts and overtime
  • ability to use computers and tablets
  • completion of required vaccinations subject to customer requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred, Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record, Prior delivery driving experience a plus, Ability to lift containers weighing up to 75 pounds, Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours, Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods, Strong customer service and communication skills, Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed, Ability to use computers and tablets, Conduct minor technology installation and troubleshooting, Healthcare experience beneficial, Subject to customer requirements, vaccinations including Influenza, MMR and Hepatitis B or a legitimate accommodation will be required

Job Duties

  • Deliver medical equipment using company transit van to hospital customer locations, Notify delivery status, Show empathy and compassion for customers and patients, Load and unload packages and products from vehicles to the home, Perform minor technical installation and de-installation in the home, Troubleshoot technology in the home as required by the customer, Maintain vehicles with proper cleanliness and minor maintenance tasks, Perform minor roadside repairs as needed, Utilize handheld tablets for navigation and reporting status and inventory updates, Conduct work in a safe manner and assist in ensuring depot personnel have safe, efficient equipment, Provide support towards continuous improvement in operations and Environmental, Health and Safety, Ensure quality service and prompt follow-through on customer correspondence, complaints and inquiries, Conduct equipment cleaning procedures at the depot as volume demands, Complete training and comply with Cardinal Health regulations including OSHA, DEA, FDA, and state and local authorities, Support and contribute to process improvements to enhance service quality, Comply with vaccinations and background checks as required by hospital customer
