Job Requirements
- Possess high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess previous customer service experience
- Possess a working knowledge of medical terminology, physician office practices and medical records
- Possess one year experience with computer software: MEDENT, MEDITECH, and various Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to handle front-line patient contact professionally
- Availability to work 36 hours per week from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with physician office practices
- Experience with medical records management
- One year experience with MEDENT, MEDITECH, and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Provide clerical support for Primary/Specialty Care Services
- Act as front-line contact with patients by telephone and in person
- Provide necessary assistance and handle all communication
- Support medical staff and administrator in operations
- Take into account individual patient’s special physical or age-related needs
- Manage patient information using MEDENT, MEDITECH, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of medical records
