Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid drivers license
- background check and motor vehicle record check must be completed (applicant pays upfront)
- willingness to obtain TSA certification and customer-specific medical certifications (certification provided upon contracting)
- proof of insurance with 100/300 liability coverage
- American Expediting listed as additionally insured on insurance certificate or coverage under dispatch insurance
- workers comp or occupational accident insurance as required by state statute or $1 million occupational accident coverage
- own a minivan suitable for deliveries
Job Qualifications
- Valid drivers license
- minimum age of 21 years or older
- reliable and safe driving record
- ability to pass background and motor vehicle record checks
- willingness to obtain TSA certification and customer-specific medical certifications
- experience in delivery or courier services is preferred but not mandatory
- strong communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Operate own minivan to perform expedited medical deliveries
- ensure on-time, secure delivery of medical specimens and supplies
- maintain excellent customer service and professional communication
- comply with all safety, regulatory, and insurance requirements
- complete delivery documentation accurately and timely
- adhere to assigned routes and schedules for overnight and early morning shifts
- obtain and maintain required certifications such as TSA and customer-specific medical certifications
