Job Requirements
- must be 21 years or older
- possess a valid driver’s license
- own a 26ft box truck
- background check and motor vehicle record check (applicant pays upfront)
- proof of liability insurance with 100/300 coverage including American Expediting as additionally insured
- workers’ compensation or occupational accident coverage as per state statute or $1 million occurrence/accident coverage
- willingness to obtain TSA and customer-specific medical certifications
- responsible for providing own vehicle, fuel, insurance, and related expenses
- must be a 1099 independent contractor
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license
- at least 21 years of age
- experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred
- ability to obtain TSA and customer-specific medical certifications
- strong time management skills
- reliable and professional demeanor
- basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- perform on-demand medical deliveries using a box truck
- ensure same-day service and timely deliveries
- adhere to safety and insurance requirements
- provide excellent customer service to medical facilities
- maintain cleanliness and operational condition of the vehicle
- obtain and maintain required certifications such as TSA and medical-specific certifications
- comply with all regulatory and company standards
