Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- Ability to use hands for single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in wet and cold environments
- Ability to handle knives and other cutting equipment safely
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery

- Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness
- Ability to read labels and familiarize oneself with various products

Job Duties
- Ensure a fresh and appealing meat display by checking quality, cleaning cases, stocking, rotating and removing out-of-date products
- Maintain back stock in good order
- Assist with sampling programs by keeping sample areas full, clean, and appealing
- Clean cases, glass, signs, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required
- Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs promptly and effectively
- Maximize sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of products
- Follow and ensure compliance with health and sanitation procedures, weight and measures regulations, and safe work practices
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties including accuracy of signs and pricing
- Report safety hazards and violations immediately
- Perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
