Job Description

Minneapolis Marriott Northwest All-Suite hotel is a newly renovated, upscale hotel offering guests first-class service and amenities. Located in a vibrant area, this property boasts extensive facilities including the Wadsworth Restaurant and Bar, the Boundary Waters Cafe, an indoor heated pool, and a well-equipped fitness center. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • must have a valid driver’s license
  • compliance with certification requirements including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid
  • ability to lead a team and multitask effectively
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • capability to maintain composure under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of hospitality software systems

Job Duties

  • greet guests with genuine warmth and keep check-ins and check-outs smooth and stress-free
  • manage reservations and VIP requests to ensure outstanding guest experiences
  • track logs, manage messages and packages to maintain operational efficiency
  • monitor room rates, packages, and promotions to support revenue growth
  • build and lead a strong, communicative front desk team
  • train new associates and provide ongoing guidance
  • resolve guest concerns and workplace issues with confidence and creativity while maintaining safety and standards
