The University Athletic Association (UAA) at the University of Florida is a dynamic and dedicated organization affiliated with one of the top public universities in the United States. The UAA is responsible for the administration and promotion of the university's intercollegiate athletics, specifically focusing on a comprehensive approach to enhancing the overall experience of Gators fans and driving revenue through various marketing and engagement strategies. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, sports management, communications, or a related field
  • one year of experience in intercollegiate or professional sports marketing
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Shoflo, and Click Effects
  • ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and travel overnight as needed
  • strong customer service skills
  • excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to engage effectively with diverse cultures or backgrounds
  • team player with a positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, sports management, communications, or a related field
  • one year of experience in intercollegiate or professional sports marketing
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Shoflo, and Click Effects
  • strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated
  • preferred master's degree in marketing, sports management, communications, or related field
  • preferred two or more years of experience in sports marketing
  • knowledge of NCAA and SEC rules and regulations

Job Duties

  • Developing and executing marketing plans for assigned sports
  • collaborating with other departments to enhance the fan experience at athletic events
  • managing various game functions for assigned sports
  • actively engaging in all Florida Football home gamedays
  • supporting other scheduled athletic events as needed
  • providing customer service and problem-solving during events
  • multitasking effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
