Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- experience operating and maintaining marina facilities preferred
- knowledge of power or sailing vessels
- understanding of nautical terms and marine customs
- effective customer relations skills
- experience handling money
- U.S. Coast Guard OUPV (Six Pack) license preferred
- valid Florida Driver’s License Classification E
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- capacity to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch
- good vision including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
Job Qualifications

- experience in Marina facility operation and maintenance preferred
- familiarity with power and sailing vessels
- knowledge of nautical terms and marine customs
- customer relations skills
- money-handling skills
- U.S. Coast Guard OUPV (Six Pack) license strongly preferred
- valid Florida Driver's License Classification E
Job Duties
- Assigns dockage and anchorage
- maintains accurate records of Marina use
- cleans and maintains Marina facilities including docks, buildings, grounds, and restrooms
- handles customer and public relations
- accommodates and coordinates reservations
- collects and accounts for monies and fees
- registers and assigns berthing slips
- advises on docking, departing and Marina procedures
- sells fuel and supplies
- monitors Marina via VHF ship-to-shore radio
- assists in emergencies and hazardous weather preparations
- oversees inventory and fuel deliveries
- assists in maintenance and repair of Marina facilities
- operates pump out boat and tender
- participates in special events preparation
