Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- over five years of grocery or warehouse manager experience preferred
- supervisory experience is required
- completion of company’s OSHA-accredited forklift training
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to perform repetitive motions such as bending, stooping, squatting
- ability to operate warehouse equipment
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to communicate clearly and manage a team
- physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- over five years of grocery or warehouse manager experience preferred
- supervisory experience is required
- previous experience in retail is an added advantage
- completion of company’s OSHA-accredited forklift training
- strong leadership and team management skills
- proficiency in using inventory management software, barcode scanners, and warehouse technologies
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- good understanding of OSHA guidelines and health and safety regulations
- ability to analyze sales trends and forecast demand
- ability to implement merchandising strategies
- excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities
- ability to maintain organized storage areas and manage inventory efficiently
- ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
- aptitude for making informed decisions quickly, often in high-pressure environments
Job Duties
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels
- analyze sales trends and forecast demand to make informed ordering decisions
- coordinate with suppliers to manage deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate replenishment
- lead, motivate, and mentor the night crew team to achieve performance targets
- conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- identify and address training needs, ensuring the team is well-equipped to perform their duties
- oversee the efficient execution of overnight stocking and inventory processes
- ensure all merchandise is stocked according to store specifications and standards
- monitor and manage workflow to meet productivity goals and deadlines
- ensure the store is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing for customers
- develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to attract customers and promote sales
- address and resolve any operational issues that may impact customer satisfaction
- ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and store policies
- conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- address any safety concerns promptly and implement corrective actions
- resolve damaged or malfunctioning equipment
- perform other duties as assigned
