Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification
  • Professional knowledge in hospitality management equivalent to Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
  • Two years of progressively responsible hotel front desk management positions
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in a business environment
  • Must pass pre-employment background check including credit check
  • Participation in sustainability and safety programs
  • Dedication to excellent customer service
  • Commitment to diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day
  • Ability to support and comply with health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification
  • Professional knowledge in hospitality management equivalent to Bachelor’s degree
  • Two years of progressive hotel front desk management experience
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in computer business applications
  • Working knowledge of accounting or hotel reservation systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and adhere to company policies and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Manage the guest service desk and luggage teams
  • Coordinate hotel inter-department activities and operations
  • Establish procedures and controls for financial transactions
  • Apply knowledge of company products, policies and procedures
  • Monitor sales and promotional activities
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Assist in annual departmental budget preparation
  • Perform Manager on Duty responsibilities
  • Participate in interviewing, selection and training
  • Supervise, manage performance, administer salaries, and coach assigned personnel
