Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in customer service, hospitality, facilities, or related field
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Demonstrated customer service experience with ability to prioritize and respond to guest needs effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic office technology
  • Familiarity with Melrose Plaza’s layout, programs, and services or ability to quickly acquire knowledge
  • Capable of working independently or collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Reliable and punctual with strong sense of responsibility
  • Flexible availability including the ability to work some evenings and weekends
  • Maintains professional appearance and represents Melrose Plaza with a high standard of hospitality
  • Must be able to successfully complete assigned Goodwill training within required timeframe
  • Reliable transportation for commuting
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance for personal vehicle use on company business
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record based on Goodwill guidelines
  • Must provide a cell phone for work responsibilities
  • Successfully complete state background investigation and drug screening

Job Duties

  • Provide and oversee guest-facing services including greeting visitors, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a consistently positive first impression
  • Ensure accurate, timely information is provided to guests regarding Melrose Plaza programs, events, services, and facility usage
  • Conduct and oversee basic tours of Melrose Plaza highlighting key amenities, meeting spaces, and available resources
  • Oversee visitor scheduling, coordination, and navigation within the facility to ensure efficient guest guidance
  • Support and oversee event planning and logistics including space scheduling, setup, guest registration, nametag distribution, and on-site coordination
  • Represent Melrose Plaza at community events and support outreach efforts as assigned
  • Assist with planning and execution of events and wellness activities
  • Maintain hospitality areas such as reception spaces, lounges, and waiting areas, ensuring cleanliness and event readiness
  • Collect, review, and utilize visitor feedback for continuous improvement
  • Track event attendance and maintain participant data in Salesforce
  • Directly supervise Guest Services personnel including scheduling, training, coaching, performance management, and onboarding
  • Conduct interviews, make hiring decisions, and assist with recruitment
  • Provide administrative support for daily operations
  • Submit and track facilities and IT help desk requests
  • Collaborate with leadership and external partners to align guest services with organizational needs
  • Participate in training sessions, meetings, and organization-wide events
  • Adhere to all Goodwill policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Melrose Plaza operations
