Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe sanitation certification
  • Three years supervisory experience
  • One year food service experience
  • Certified Dietary Manager or Registered Licensed Dietitian within one year of hire depending on location
  • Food Handlers certification within 90 days for Jefferson location
  • Serve Safe Manager certification within 90 days for St Louis South, Springfield, and Washington locations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe certification
  • Minimum three years supervisory experience
  • At least one year of food service experience
  • Certified Dietary Manager or Registered Licensed Dietitian preferred within one year of hire
  • Ability to comply with varying certification timelines for specific locations

Job Duties

  • Manage food production for patient and commercial meal services
  • Oversee purchasing and receiving of food and non-food items for all cost centers
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agency requirements
  • Maintain nutritional adequacy of food served
  • Share responsibility for fiscal performance and budget management
  • Ensure overall plant safety and sanitation
  • Plan for future development and construction of plant upgrades
