Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe sanitation certification
- Three years supervisory experience
- One year food service experience
- Certified Dietary Manager or Registered Licensed Dietitian within one year of hire depending on location
- Food Handlers certification within 90 days for Jefferson location
- Serve Safe Manager certification within 90 days for St Louis South, Springfield, and Washington locations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe certification
- Minimum three years supervisory experience
- At least one year of food service experience
- Certified Dietary Manager or Registered Licensed Dietitian preferred within one year of hire
- Ability to comply with varying certification timelines for specific locations
Job Duties
- Manage food production for patient and commercial meal services
- Oversee purchasing and receiving of food and non-food items for all cost centers
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory agency requirements
- Maintain nutritional adequacy of food served
- Share responsibility for fiscal performance and budget management
- Ensure overall plant safety and sanitation
- Plan for future development and construction of plant upgrades
