Community Engagement and Expansion

Mercy is committed to enhancing community health through various initiatives:

• Partnerships: In October 2024, Mercy, the Alice L. Walton Foundation, and the Heartland Whole Health Institute formed a partnership to improve cardiac care in Northwest Arkansas. This includes a combined $700 million investment to build new facilities and recruit doctors.
• School Health Clinics: Mercy opened its first school health clinic in September 2022 at the Jim D. Rollins School of Innovation in Tontitown, Arkansas. The clinic aims to reduce absenteeism and promote preventive healthcare among students and their families.
