Job Requirements

  • Ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird
  • Associates degree in related field
  • Additional related work experience may be substituted for education
  • 2-4 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence, including prior experience in a management or supervisory role
  • Must be able to calculate, analyze and manage COGS (cost of goods sold), labor and any variable costs related to the restaurant
  • Ability to properly manage your time during operational hours making sure that it is spent wisely between guests, employees and administrative duties
  • Demonstrate good operational planning skills to properly streamline business between take out and sit-down patrons
  • ServSafe Food Handler Permit, Tips Cert, DABS background check
  • Ability to handle, process, maintain and protect guest personal information, including but not limited to credit card information, in compliance with all company or department policies and procedures according to PCI rules and requirements
  • This includes privacy and confidentiality, reporting, storage and disposal of sensitive information
  • Will not share or disclose any guest personal or company financial information to anyone unless authorized by the guest, manager or company or unless disclosure is permitted within departmental policies and procedures
  • Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including excellent guest service, listening and oral communication skills and conflict management and dispute resolution skills
  • Must demonstrate competency in reading, writing and arithmetic with accuracy in counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing
  • Must demonstrate strong working knowledge of food, wine, beer, and spirits, with the ability to learn menus and guide guests through beverage selections
  • Must be able to make sound decisions independently while following company policies and staying within the scope of the role

Job Duties

  • Direct daily restaurant operations by managing staff, taking care of guests, and resolve any issues quickly and professionally
  • Monitor employee performance, provide real-time coaching, and maintain adherence to company procedures and quality standards
  • Lead team meetings, communicate with directors via the EOD report, ensures timely completion in close-out procedures
  • Oversee the onboarding process and provide continuous training and development for both new hires and current team members
  • Ensure staff follow service procedures, including appearance standards and uniforms
  • Manage inventory control, placing orders, and ensuring stock levels are maintained
  • Evaluate staff performance and take appropriate action regarding promotions, transfers, coaching documentations, or terminations to enhance team performance
  • Ensure accurate daily records, including sales summaries, hours worked (payroll), staff attendance, and tip-out distribution
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate shift coverage, meet scheduling deadlines, and stay within labor guidelines
  • Maintain good safety practices of employees and guests throughout the property
  • Follow company and federal policies and regulations for serving alcoholic beverages responsibly
  • Ensure team and restaurant are current in required certificates / licensing (Food Handler’s, Sips and Tips, Business, etc.)
  • Ensure cleanliness / organizational standards are maintained at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
