Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- OSHA 10 certification required or completion within 90 days of hire
- Proven maintenance experience
- Knowledge of residential construction and maintenance trades
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency with mobile devices
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Availability for occupancy checks and eviction lockouts when necessary
- Ability to provide personal hand and power tools
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance or related building maintenance
- Understanding of residential construction and mechanical systems including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior structural, minor HVAC, and appliances
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortability using mobile devices and applications
- Ability to possess and maintain a current driver’s license and automobile insurance
- Preferred certifications include EPA Type I and II, HVAC certification, and pool CPO certification
- Ability to be regularly present at work including weekends and holidays
- Ability to provide basic hand and power tools
- Physical capability to perform tasks requiring frequent climbing, stooping, lifting over 50 pounds, and operating standard maintenance equipment
Job Duties
- Completing maintenance service requests across multiple trades
- Providing excellent customer service and promoting a quality living experience for all residents
- Completing regular proactive maintenance visits in residents' homes
- Educating residents regarding all maintenance topics
- Conducting general property condition assessments and reporting urgent issues
- Reviewing technician-specific reports to identify opportunities for improvement
- Performing repairs in vacant properties during marketing or turnover
- Proper use and maintenance of company tools, materials, and vehicles
- Performing additional duties as assigned
