Job Requirements

- prior experience in maintenance or engineering role preferred
- ability to operate hand and power tools
- knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

- knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems

- commitment to safety and preventative maintenance practices
Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- comply at all times with Peachtree Hospitality Management Standards and regulations
- maintain regular attendance standards as required by scheduling
- perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines, building systems, and physical condition in good order
- assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders like replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and patching vinyl
- check electrical systems and make minor repairs or replacements
- assist with routine and major repairs on hotel equipment including appliances, kitchen and laundry equipment, boilers, pool, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- service the hotel pool by adjusting chemicals, cleaning filters, and completing maintenance logs
- maintain building exterior and curb appeal including snow removal, lawn care, painting, trash removal, and gardening
- refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, and counters, including painting and finishing
- respond courteously to guest questions, complaints, or requests to ensure satisfaction
- operate heavy machinery
- repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools and reassemble equipment
- diagnose mechanical problems, consulting blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs
- perform maintenance work orders timely to maintain guest satisfaction
- communicate with other departments about guest room conditions
- maintain clean and orderly work areas and storage rooms
- perform other duties as requested by management
- attend all required training and meetings
