Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk extended routes while transporting mail carts or trays
  • Attention to routing labels, document tags, and delivery schedules
  • Consistent adherence to internal document handling procedures
  • Availability for 4 or 8 hour shifts
  • Willingness to work day shifts Monday to Friday and possibly weekends
  • Ability to work remotely within networked locations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in mail handling or logistics is preferred
  • Ability to walk extended routes while transporting mail carts or trays
  • Attention to detail with routing labels, document tags, and delivery schedules
  • Familiarity with document handling procedures
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Duties

  • Collect outgoing envelopes and parcels from designated mail drop locations
  • Transport sorted mail containers between processing stations and distribution racks
  • Deliver internal correspondence to labeled department bins or secure intake points
  • Return empty trays, carts, and transport totes to mail processing areas
  • Confirm department identifiers before completing each delivery stop
  • Record accountable items such as tracked envelopes or registered packets
  • Remove incorrectly addressed materials and return them to sorting stations
