Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged or certificate of achievement as adult education high school equivalency
- previous food service experience preferred
- previous Starbucks experience preferred
- servsafe certification preferred
- ability to perform accurate cash handling
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow safety practices and procedures
- availability to work Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 5:30am to 9:30am
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or ged or certificate of achievement as an adult education high school equivalency
- previous food service experience preferred
- previous Starbucks experience preferred
- servsafe certification preferred
- demonstrated high standard of service skills, self-motivation, problem solving and time management
- demonstrated commitment to job through past performance, attendance, cooperation with co-workers and customers
- ability to learn new and multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- effective written, verbal and communication skills
- knowledge and flexibility in food service including safety and quality
- proactive approach to problem solving
- willingness to take ownership of projects
- ability to maintain composure during busy periods
- attention to detail
- ability to respond productively to constructive criticism
- customer service training preferred
Job Duties
- assists in the preparation, sale and distribution of food and beverage items with emphasis on Starbucks
- stocks, sorts and puts away food, supplies, dishes and other items
- performs accurate cash handling functions
- ensures accurate charging for all items, for every guest, for every transaction
- cleans and sanitizes equipment, work and storage areas
- disposes of trash, refuse and recycling
- maintains standards for quality, safety, sanitation and communication
- adheres to all safety practices and procedures
- engages in positive communication with co-workers and guests
- contributes to and supports goals and objectives of the club
- demonstrates and encourages exceptional customer service
- adheres to established dress code and personal appearance standards
