University of Michigan Health-Sparrow is a comprehensive healthcare organization serving the Mid-Michigan region. Formed in April 2023 through the merger of Sparrow Health System and University of Michigan Health, it combines the strengths of both institutions to deliver world-class care.

With over 115 sites of care across Mid-Michigan, including six hospitals and numerous outpatient clinics, the organization offers a wide range of medical services. These include emergency care, primary and specialty care, advanced imaging, laboratory services, and retail pharmacy.

It is home to Michigan's first certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing regional expertise in neurological care. The UM Health-Sparrow Lansing Mother Baby Center is also one of the most trusted in Michigan, welcoming approximately 4,000 babies each year.

Expansion Plans

In October 2024, the organization announced plans to build a new 45,000-square-foot healthcare center near Grand Ledge, Michigan. This facility is expected to open in winter 2027 and will offer urgent care, laboratory and retail pharmacy, primary and specialty care, plus advanced imaging services.
