Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years professional truck driving experience
- current cdl with appropriate class and endorsements
- clean background check
- ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
- capacity to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- valid medical certification to meet department of transportation standards
Job Qualifications
- valid commercial driver’s license (cdl) with appropriate endorsements
- clean driving record with no recent violations
- experience in intermodal or heavy truck driving preferred
- knowledge of transportation safety regulations
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- physical ability to perform job duties including occasional lifting and climbing
Job Duties
- operate intermodal trucks to transport containers between rail yards and customer locations
- safely handle and deliver freight according to company standards
- maintain communication with dispatch and onsite management
- comply with federal and state transportation regulations
- perform vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- assist with loading and unloading when required
- complete paperwork and documentation accurately
