Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record
- ability to pass company-wide background investigation
- ability to pass drug screen when applicable
- ability to lift and carry office and patient equipment weighing up to 65 pounds
- capability to sit, walk, stand, talk, and listen as required
- close vision ability for reading small print on computers, tablets, and paperwork
- willingness to comply with Rotech Respiratory Protection and N95 Mask Fit Testing Policy including medical evaluation, timely fit testing, annual recertification, and maintaining a clean-shaven face to ensure proper mask seal according to OSHA guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- experience with medical equipment preferred
- one year of related work experience preferred
- knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- ability to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
- effective oral and written communication skills in English
- ability to interpret a variety of communications including verbal, non-verbal, written, listening, and visual
- maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
- strong multitasking skills with close attention to detail
- self-motivated, well-organized with good time-management and deductive problem-solving skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- proficiency in email transmission, internet navigation, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- mechanically inclined for repair and troubleshooting of equipment
- demonstrated ability to load, unload, and secure transported cargo per company policy
- understanding of home respiratory equipment and supplies
Job Duties
- Drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients’ homes
- educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment
- maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety
- complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time
- keep your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service
- respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations
- ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
