Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record
- background check
- drug screen when applicable
- compliance with healthcare facility credentialing process when applicable
- ability to lift and carry office equipment and patient equipment weighing at least 65 pounds
- ability to sit, walk, stand, talk and listen for extended periods
- close vision to small print on computer, tablet and paperwork
- willingness to comply with respiratory protection and N95 Mask Fit Testing Policy including medical evaluation, fit testing compliance, annual recertification and keeping face clean-shaven
- ability to drive company vehicle for majority of workday
- comfort with exposure to contagious pathogens due to patient contact
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- experience with medical equipment, preferred
- one year of related work experience, preferred
- knowledge of medical terminology, preferred
- accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
- effectively communicate in English both oral and written
- interpret a variety of communications verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual
- maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
- multi-task with attention to detail
- self-motivated, organized, time-management and deductive problem-solving skills
- work independently and as part of a team
- email transmission and communication skills
- internet navigation and research skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- experienced with office equipment such as fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer or tablet
- mechanically inclined for repair and troubleshooting of equipment
- knowledge of proper loading, unloading and tie-down procedures for transported cargo
- understanding of home respiratory equipment and supplies
Job Duties
- Available for on-call assignments as needed
- drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients’ homes
- educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment
- maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety
- complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time
- keep your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service
- respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations
- ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
- perform other duties as assigned
