Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record when applicable for the position
- ability to lift a minimum of 65 pounds
- ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening
- able to comply with healthcare facility credentialing process when applicable for the position
- pass background check
- pass drug screen when applicable for the position
- compliance with Rotech respiratory protection and N95 mask fit testing policy including medical evaluation, fit testing compliance, annual recertification and maintaining a clean-shaven face for mask seal
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- experience with medical equipment preferred
- one year of related work experience preferred
- knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
- effectively communicate in English both oral and written
- interpret a variety of communications including verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual
- maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
- multi-task with attention to detail
- self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem-solving skills
- work independently and as part of a team
- proficient in email transmission and communication
- internet navigation and research
- skilled in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
- experienced with office equipment including fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer and/or tablet
- mechanically inclined for repair and troubleshooting of equipment
- able to demonstrate loading, unloading and proper tie down procedures for transported cargo
- understands use of applicable home respiratory equipment and supplies
Job Duties
- Available for on-call assignments as needed
- drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients’ homes
- educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment
- maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety
- complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time
- keep your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service
- respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations
- ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
- perform other duties as assigned
