Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and transport equipment (minimum 65 lbs)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with medical equipment or home healthcare preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Background check and drug screen
- Ability to comply with respiratory protection and mask fit testing policies
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, talk, listen, and have close vision
- Willingness to drive a company vehicle for majority of workday
- Ability to handle potential exposure to contagious pathogens
- Maintain clean-shaven face for N95 mask compliance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with medical equipment preferred
- One year of related work experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Effective communication in English both oral and written
- Ability to interpret various forms of communication
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Self-motivated, organized, with good time-management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Mechanically inclined for equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Job Duties
- Drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients' homes
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety
- Complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time
- Keep your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service
- Respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
