Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record
  • Background investigation
  • Drug screen when applicable
  • Ability to lift minimum of 65 pounds
  • Compliance with respiratory protection and N95 mask fit testing policy including medical evaluation, annual recertification, and keeping face clean-shaven
  • Capacity to drive a company vehicle for majority of the workday
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Physically able to sit, walk, stand, talk, and listen
  • Ability to perform close vision tasks on computer, tablet, and paperwork
  • Contact with patients and equipment exposed to contagious pathogens

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience with medical equipment preferred
  • One year of related work experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Effectively communicate in English both oral and written
  • Interpret various modes of communication
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Multi-task with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and organized with time-management skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in email communication and internet navigation
  • Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Familiar with office equipment including fax, copier, printer, phone, and computer or tablet
  • Mechanically inclined for equipment repair and troubleshooting
  • Skilled in loading, unloading, and proper cargo tie down
  • Understands use of home respiratory equipment and supplies

Job Duties

  • Drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients' homes
  • Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety
  • Complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time
  • Keep your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service
  • Respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
