Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record
- Background investigation
- Drug screen when applicable
- Ability to lift minimum of 65 pounds
- Compliance with respiratory protection and N95 mask fit testing policy including medical evaluation, annual recertification, and keeping face clean-shaven
- Capacity to drive a company vehicle for majority of the workday
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Physically able to sit, walk, stand, talk, and listen
- Ability to perform close vision tasks on computer, tablet, and paperwork
- Contact with patients and equipment exposed to contagious pathogens
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with medical equipment preferred
- One year of related work experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
- Effectively communicate in English both oral and written
- Interpret various modes of communication
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Multi-task with attention to detail
- Self-motivated and organized with time-management skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in email communication and internet navigation
- Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Familiar with office equipment including fax, copier, printer, phone, and computer or tablet
- Mechanically inclined for equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Skilled in loading, unloading, and proper cargo tie down
- Understands use of home respiratory equipment and supplies
Job Duties
- Drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients' homes
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety
- Complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time
- Keep your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service
- Respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
