Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- valid driver's license with clean driving record
- ability to lift and transport minimum 65 pounds
- strong customer service and communication skills
- background investigation
- drug screen when applicable
- employment contingent on valid driver's license in state of residence
- ability to comply with respiratory protection and N95 mask fit testing policy
- maintain a clean-shaven face for mask fit as per OSHA guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- experience with medical equipment preferred
- one year of related work experience preferred
- basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
- effectively communicate in English both oral and written
- interpret a variety of communications including verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual
- maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
- multi-task with attention to detail
- self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
- work independently and as part of a team
- proficiency with email, internet navigation, and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
- mechanically inclined for repair and troubleshooting of equipment
- knowledge of loading, unloading and proper tie down procedures
- understanding of home respiratory equipment and supplies
Job Duties
- Drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients' homes
- educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment
- maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety
- complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time
- keep assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service
- respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations
- ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
