Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment (minimum 65 lbs)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with medical equipment or home healthcare preferred
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Background investigation
  • Drug screen when applicable
  • Compliance with Rotech Respiratory Protection and N95 Mask Fit Testing Policy
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to operate office equipment and conduct internet research
  • Mechanically inclined for equipment repair and troubleshooting
  • Ability to follow loading, unloading, and cargo tie-down procedures
  • Physical ability to sit, walk, stand, talk, listen, and lift required weight
  • Willingness to engage with patients and handle medical equipment safely

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients' homes
  • Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety
  • Complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time
  • Keep assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service
  • Respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
