Job Requirements
- Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license
- Medical examiner's card
- Hazmat and airbrake endorsements
- One year of professional Class A driving experience within the last five years
- Clean driving record with no more than two convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last three years or a combination of one conviction and one at-fault accident
- Diploma from an accredited driving school may be considered in lieu of experience
- At least 21 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary safety credentials
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending material safety data sheets
Job Qualifications
- Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license with airbrake and hazmat endorsements
- One year of professional Class A driving experience within the last five years or diploma from an accredited driving school
- Clean driving record with limited convictions and accidents
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary safety credentials for customer site access
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending material safety data sheets
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
Job Duties
- Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to external and internal customer locations
- Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt
- Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling
- Adhere to all Airgas safety standards and government regulations, including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA
- Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed
